Clear Cornea Cataract Surgery Our physicians are experts in the latest technique to remove cataracts in patients. This procedure is called "Clear Cornea Cataract Surgery". The operation is done with anesthesia eyedrops--there are no injections to the eye--and the patient usually goes home with no stitches or patch. They teach this procedure twice a week to other doctors. |
Corneal refractive therapy Corneal Refractive Therapy provides a new option for patients with difficulty seeing in the distance or having trouble reading up close. Paragon CRT lenses correct myopia and hyperopia, with or without low or moderate astigmatism, by gently reshaping the cornea while you sleep. When the Paragon CRT lenses are removed in the morning, the treated cornea allows light to focus on the retina. The result is clear, natural vision for all or most of your waking hours. This procedure is FDA approved and can be done on patients six years of age and up. Many adults hesitant to have LASEK surgery are excellent CRT candidates. They are quick to embrace this safe, reversible, effective and painless way to eliminate the need for glasses or daytime contact lenses. |
